Summary of the Minutes of the Special Session of the Board of Education

January 18, 2008

The Board of Education met in special session at 12:15 p.m., on Friday, January 18, 2008, in the Board Room of the Administration Building. Present were Jim Spicer, President; Michele Appelgate, Tim Becker, Gary Hoffman, Darshini Jayawardena, Robert Thoms and Mark Young, Directors.

Gaylord Tryon and Dave Haggard from G. Tryon and Associates discussed with the Board information regarding the superintendent search process and timelines.  Directors Appelgate and Hoffman volunteered to head a steering committee to select focus group participants.

Meeting adjourned at 1:20 p.m. No action was taken during work/study session.
