Kindergarten

To begin the year ...

  1. Birth Certificate
  1. IMMUNIZATION CARD AND health record signed by doctor & dentist
  1. 5 glue sticks (.21 oz) and 1 bottle white school glue (4 oz)
  1. 4 boxes of crayons (8 crayons per box) - small - primary colors
  1. 2 boxes of markers (classic colors, box of 10)
  1. Scissors (recommend Fiskars brand w/metal blades)
  1. Pencil box (5" x 8")
  1. 1 2-pocket folder
  1. 3 ring notebook - 1" rings (NO TRAPPER KEEPERS)
  1. 1 spiral notebook (wide lines) - no more than 70 pages - not with perforated sheets
  1. 1 large box of facial tissue (250 count)
  1. A large shirt for art work (sleeves removed)

 

  1. Gym shoes - students need not have a separate pair of gym shoes if the shoes they regularly wear to school are suitable for the gym floor and safety.  (In the winter, it is nice for the students to have gym shoes to wear if they forget their shoes.)

 

  1. School bag - big enough for a 9x12 library book
  1. Beach towel
  1. 1 box of crackers
  1. 12 yellow #2 pencils (recommended Ticonderoga brand)

1st Grade
To begin the year ...

  1. 8 glue sticks
  1. 2 - boxes of crayons (no more than 24 per box)  Please no Rose Art
  1. 2 - boxes washable primary color  markers (not the skinny markers)
  1. One eraser
  1. 6 pencils (sharpened)
  1. Scissors - not the all plastic kind
  1. 2 school boxes for supplies, etc. - cigar box size - please no larger as they don't fit in desks

 

  1. 2 spiral notebooks (wide-lined) - (No coil-less notebooks)
  1. 2 - 2 pocket plain folders
  1. 1 large box of facial tissue
  1. An old shirt for art work (sleeves removed) or a towel. Something easy for child to put on and take off.

 

  1. Gym shoes - students need not have a separate pair of gym shoes if the shoes they regularly wear to school are suitable for the gym floor and safety.  (In the winter, it is nice for the students to have gym shoes to wear if they forget their shoes.)

 

  1. Large school bag (please, no wheeled bags)
  1. 1 box of watercolor paints
  1. 1 box or crackers
  1. 1 small box or package of colored pencils

2nd Grade
To begin the year ...

  1. 2 glue sticks and a large bottle of white glue
  1. 1  box of crayons (no more than 32 per box)
  1. 1 box of 8 markers
  1. 1 4-pack of Dry Erase markers
  1. 1 hard rubber eraser
  1. 12 #2 pencils
  1. Scissors
  1. 1 box for pencils, etc. - cigar box size - example:  diaper wipe container

 

  1. 3 spiral notebooks (wide-lined)
  1. 2 folders - NO trapper keepers.  They don't fit in desks.
  1. 2 large boxes of facial tissue
  1. An old shirt for artwork (sleeves removed) or a towel. Something easy for child to put on and take off.

 

  1. Gym shoes - students need not have a separate pair of gym shoes if the shoes they regularly wear to school are suitable for the gym floor and safety.  (In the winter, it is nice for the students to have gym shoes to wear if they forget their shoes.)

  1. 1 large box of facial tissue
  1. An old shirt for artwork (sleeves removed) or a towel. Something easy for child to put on and take off.

 

  1. Gym shoes - students need not have a separate pair of gym shoes if the shoes they regularly wear to school are suitable for the gym floor and safety.  (In the winter, it is nice for the students to have gym shoes to wear if they forget their shoes.)

4th Grade
To begin the year...

  1. Low odor "Expo" dry erase markers in blue or black AND one set of markers (8 colors)
  1. 1 eraser
  1. Only 2 wooden pencils at a time (#2 pencils) (no mechanical pencils)
  1. Scissors
  1. 1 pencil bag (fits in notebook)

 

  1. 1 notebook (3 ring,  1"-1½" size only.  Anything larger will not fit in their desk) AND notebook paper (wide lined, red margin on the left side)
  1. 7 spiral notebooks (individual)   1 green, 1 purple, 1 blue, 1 black, 2 red, and 1 (3-subject any color)
  1. 3 double-pocket folders
  1. 2 large boxes (250 count) facial tissue.  One at the beginning of the school year,  and one in January.
  1. An old shirt for artwork (sleeves removed) or a towel. Something easy for child to put on and take off.
