iPAQ Help...

If you are having problems getting your iPAQ to sync. Try the following until you are successful.

    Reconnect the iPAQ.
  1. Remove the iPAQq from the cradle.
  2. Reseat the iPAQ in the cradle
  3. This may take several tries.
    Soft reset the ipaq.
  1. On the bottom of the ipaq there is a small hole on the right hand side.
  2. You can insert the stylus into this hole. That will reset your ipaq.
  3. Then cradle the ipaq.
Delete and create an ActiveSync partnership.
  1. Make sure iPAQ is not in the cradle.
  2. Start ActiveSync.
  3. Choose File -> delete partnership.
  4. Answer yes to confirm the deletion of the partnership.
  5. Answer no at the prompt to delete the synchronized files folder.
  6. Cradle the iPAQ.
  7. ActiveSync should see the iPAQ and ask if you want to setup a partnership.
  8. Select Standard Partnership and click Next.
  9. If prompted to specify how to synchronize data, select Synchronize with this desktop computer and click Next.
  10. At the Select Number of Parhnerships prompt, select I want to synchronize with only this computer and click next.
  11. At the Select Synchronization settings prompt select the items you want to synchronize. I suggest the following:
(Selected items have a checkmark in the box.)
    1. Calendar
    2. Contacts
    3. Files - selecting this causes a prompt stating a synchronized files folder will be created - select OK
    4. Inbox
    5. Notes
    6. Tasks
  12. Select Next
  13. Select Finish
  14. Your iPAQ should now synchronize.
If all else fails - contact tech support.
