Welcome to the Powerschool nurses resources page. Most questions can be answered by clicking on the icon while logged into Powerschool. Additional resources are below. Click on any topic to view in detail.
Entering Student Health Information / Searches / Viewing Student Lists
- Click Personalize in the left hand panel.
- Click Initial Student Screen.
- From the pop up menu, choose Student Health Information, then click the submit button.
- Click the apple to get to the start page. Now when you click on a student the first screen that appears is the Student Health Information screen.

Log Entries - Documenting Student Nurse Visits
- Select a student.
- Click Log Entries in the left panel.
- Click the New button.
- Fill in the log type as medical and enter information in the log entry text.

The next time you select this student and choose Log Entries you'll see the log entry as listed below.

Log Entries - Searching Log Entries
- Click Special Functions.
- Click Search Log Entries.
- For Log Type, enter Medical, enter any other parameters you wish to search for, then click Submit.
- Print List Log Entries to view the resulting list. .

Student Health Information Screen
- Select a student and click on him/her.
- Click on Custom Screens.
- Click on Student Health Information screen
- At this point you have access to all of that student's health information. ALSO, at the top of the screen is a link - View Medical Alert List. If you click on this link you will be able to set up a report that will allow you to view all students in your building and their medical alert detail.

View Medical Alert Details for Students Marked with Medical Alert
- Select a student and click on him/her.
- Click on Custom Screens.
- Click on Student Health Information screen
- At the top of the screen is a link - View Medical Alert List. If you click on this link you will be able to set up a report that will allow you to view all students in your building and their medical alert detail. After you click it make sure you select MEDICAL as the alert type.
