Online registration must be completed by every student in grades transitional kindergarten through 12th grade.  (Students in 4-year-old Preschool and Early Childhood do NOT need to complete online registration.  Contact Lisa Christianson at 641-450-5300 with questions for those programs.)

Steps to register students for Mason City Schools depends on if the student is a RETURNING student, or if they are a NEW student to the district.

RETURNING STUDENTS - Your student(s) attended Mason City Schools through the end of the 2022-23 school year.

NEW STUDENTS - Your student(s) is NEW to the district, OR attended previously but did NOT finish in the 2022-23 school year at MCCSD.

 

RETURNING STUDENTS

1 - Log into PowerSchool  https://masoncityschools.powerschool.com/public/home.html  

2 - Click on Forms in the left panel.  (IF using the PowerSchool App, click on "More" and then "Forms.")

3 - Complete all forms and submit.  (There is NO submit button for Form 8.  It is informational and includes a link to Touchbase to pay fees.)

 

NEW STUDENTS

1 - Complete the New Student Enrollment Intention Form by clicking HERE

2 - You will be contacted at the email you provided with your Powerschool Parent Account username and password.  This will allow you to log into Powerschool to register your student(s).

3 - Log into Powerschool https://masoncityschools.powerschool.com/public/home.html

4 - Click on Forms in the left panel.

5 - Complete all forms and submit.  (There is NO submit button for Form 8.  It is informational and includes a link to Touchbase to pay fees.)
